November 13th – Blue Sky
I love that the sky is blue. It could’ve been any color – green, yellow, pink, white, black – but it’s blue, and to my eye, there is hardly a more beautiful hue.
November 12th – My Church
I love that the core of this church is the gospel. It’s Jesus – and what He has done to reconcile us to our Maker.
November 11th – Story
Stories carry meaning. They press upon our hearts, leading us to ideas, beliefs, decisions. They shape our character. I’m thankful for good stories.
November 10th – Food
Coffee, chocolate, sun-warmed strawberries; freshly baked bread, cheddar cheese, grilled chicken. Yes, He is good.
November 9th – Victory
Thank You, Jesus, that You have won. You ruined the kingdom of darkness with the light of Your unmatched love. Your blood was poured out, atoning for the evil of a race; atoning for the evil of my heart.
November 8th – Chipper
So many times, his blue eyes, his soft, velvety nose, his tall ears and little paws told my heart what I struggled to feel – the love and goodness of my Creator.
November 7th – Here
While I was away, I was homesick for here. And now that I’m home, I’m missing my home afar. And in this season of change and sameness, my heart wants to complain a bit. So I’ll remind my soul:
November 6th – Cats
I’m thankful for cats. I know, some find them disagreeable. Some prefer dogs. And that’s okay.

For You, the One delighted in Becoming One despised For You, the praise of Israel Receiving mocking scorn
