November 16 – My Car

I love my little red Ford.

Hawk by name, he and I have flown across many miles together.

When I first got him, I was a little sad that he didn’t have a sunroof.

And sometimes I wish that he did, but it’s okay.

It’s a good reminder to be content.

He’s got lots of space – for luggage, cleaning supplies, mattresses, furniture, people, my cello, etc.

Basically whatever I’ve needed to haul around for the past three years.

And he has an aux cord – a step up from the car I drove before. Especially delightful for long solo drives, when music and stories make lovely companions.

And red is just a great color – so vibrant and rich.

I love my car.

Thank You, Father, for my car. And for Your hand upon all the travels in it.

Such a lovely little guy! And I’ve been blessed to drive it over periods you’ve not been home and not needed it where you were. *I* am thankful for that (and your continued generosity with it, even now!)

Love this! And your heart. ? It’s such a joy to read your posts. It makes me feel like I’m right back in that little dorm room we called home for a bit. Miss you!
