November 11th – Story

Stories carry meaning.

They press upon our hearts, leading us to ideas, beliefs, decisions.

They shape our character.

I’m thankful for good stories.

For the ones that stir my heart to courage, or kindle hope afresh;

That through the lens of character and plot make clearer my own world;

That show me what it looks like to sacrifice;

To live for a cause so noble that it’s worth dying for.

Stories that shaped me, strengthened my faith, wakened me to valor and majesty.

I’m thankful to be part of the Grand Story of the Ages.

And so thankful that the Author’s heart is good, and that

In the end, this story’s going to be amazing.
