November 21st – Enough

There will always be enough.

“…His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness”. (2 Peter 1:3)

Life and godliness – doesn’t this cover it all?

Every situation, in all of life.

The power to do right, to live in a manner worthy of God.

We will always have what we need for this.

And that is enough.

I do not always feel that.

Emotions distract, problems overwhelm.

People, situations, trials – beyond my capacity to manage.

But not beyond His.

He has promised – it is so.

I’m taking His promise to the bank.

He will make it good.

My soul, take Him at His word, and live in His grace.

His power is perfected in weakness.

He will do it in you.

And He has done all for you, that you may live, and live abundantly.

Lord, thank You for Your promise and provision. Thank You that You are Jehovah-Jireh – the Lord my provider. And You are more than enough.
