• November 21st – Enough

    There will always be enough. “…His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness”. (2 Peter 1:3) Life and godliness – doesn’t this cover it all?

  • November 20th – Seasons

    I’m thankful for seasons. For days of golden glory, and months of cold and gray. For brilliant, fading autumns, and fresh-born life of spring. For growing in the rain, and working in the sun.

  • November 17th – Providence

    His working is wonderful. Sometimes in answered prayer - maybe not how I was expecting, but even better. Sometimes in kindness of friends and strangers.

  • November 15th – Redemption

    “In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins”. The longer I live, the more I see of my own sinful heart. The more I know Him, the more I see His holiness and goodness.

  • November 14th – Unchanging

    What You say, You will do. Your word is true. “Though the eye of sinful man Thy glory may not see,” Yet I know that You are more beautiful than I can imagine.

  • November 11th – Story

    Stories carry meaning. They press upon our hearts, leading us to ideas, beliefs, decisions. They shape our character. I’m thankful for good stories.

  • November 9th – Victory

    Thank You, Jesus, that You have won. You ruined the kingdom of darkness with the light of Your unmatched love. Your blood was poured out, atoning for the evil of a race; atoning for the evil of my heart.

  • November 7th – Here

    While I was away, I was homesick for here. And now that I’m home, I’m missing my home afar. And in this season of change and sameness, my heart wants to complain a bit. So I’ll remind my soul:
