November 2 – Work

Thank You for work, Lord.

Thank You for responsibility, and dependency.

Thank You for letting us labor for reward, so we can experience Your blessing, and the joy that You experience – Your labor of love was the cross, and Your reward is an inheritance of nations.

Thank You that in all our striving, we can rest, for You are our dear Father, and You take good care of Your children.

Thank You that we can do nothing apart from You, but You give us all we need for life and godliness.

Thank You that You give me everything I need for my job, for every shift, every little task and moment.

Thank You for providing so for all Your children.

Thank You for being with us, always.

Thank You for work; for action and purpose and calling and goals.

And for grace – Your power to do it.

Oh, You are so good.

Thank You, Jesus.
